Dique la Cienega, constructed between 1911 and 1926, is situated 34 km from San Salvador de Jujuy, accessible via RN9 and Provincial Routes 62 or 51. This expansive lake covers 255 hectares, holding a volume of 32,000 cubic hectometers and reaching a maximum height of 27.70 meters with a length of 1250 meters.
