Public Transportation
From the city center of Salta, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Ómnibus. You can walk there in about 15-20 minutes, or take a local taxi or rideshare service. Once at the bus terminal, look for buses heading towards the 'Cerro San Bernardo' area, as Fuentes de Agua is located nearby. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. After arriving at the stop closest to Cerro San Bernardo, disembark and follow the signs or local direction towards the park area where Fuentes de Agua is located. The site is usually a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are in the central area of Salta, you can walk to Fuentes de Agua. Start at Plaza 9 de Julio and walk towards Calle Alvarado. Continue on Alvarado until you reach Avenida San Martín. Turn right and follow Avenida San Martín until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Libertador. From here, continue straight to reach the hill area known for its natural springs. The walk is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
