Walking
From the summit of Cerro Otto, follow the well-marked trail south. The hike to Piedra de Habsburgo is relatively easy and takes approximately one hour. The path is mostly flat with some slight inclines. Watch for trail markers to stay on the correct route. There is no entrance fee to access the trail from Cerro Otto.

Public Transport
From downtown Bariloche, take bus number 50 or 51 to the base of the Teleférico Cerro Otto. A SUBE card is needed to pay the bus fare. As of July 2025, the bus fare is approximately AR$370-2100. From the base, purchase a ticket for the Teleférico to ascend to the summit of Cerro Otto. From there, follow the walking directions to Piedra de Habsburgo. The Teleférico ticket price varies depending on the season, check www.telefericobariloche.com.ar for current pricing.

Taxi
From downtown Bariloche, a taxi to the base of Teleférico Cerro Otto will cost approximately AR$6,500-8,000. From there, purchase a ticket for the Teleférico to ascend to the summit of Cerro Otto. From the summit, follow the walking directions to Piedra de Habsburgo. A taxi directly to the summit via the road is possible when the road is open, but it is not common. Confirm road conditions and taxi availability in advance. The entrance to Cerro Otto complex may require an entrance fee.
