The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Martial Glacier' stop and follow the path uphill for about 20-30 minutes to reach the viewpoint. The bus fare is approximately 150 ARS one way.

    Take a taxi from anywhere in Ushuaia to Mirador Las Hayas or Glaciar Martial. The drive takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis can drop you off near the starting point of the hiking path to the viewpoint. A taxi from Ushuaia to Las Hayas Resort (near the Mirador) costs approximately $300 - $360 ARS.

  • Walking

    For a challenging hike, start from Plaza Islas Malvinas in the city center. Head east along Av. San Martín, then turn right onto Av. Maipú. Continue to the main bus terminal and either catch the bus to Glaciar Martial or continue walking up Av. Luis Fernando Martial. The total walking distance to the Mirador Las Hayas viewpoint is about 5 km and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Be prepared for an uphill hike.
