Public Transport
To reach the Senda Costera trailhead from Ushuaia, take a shuttle bus that goes to Tierra del Fuego National Park. These buses depart frequently from Ushuaia and can be booked through hotels or at the main bus station. The bus will drop you off at the park entrance where you will need to pay the park entrance fee. After paying the entrance fee, re-board the bus to either the Ensenada Bay or Lago Roca area, depending on which direction you plan to hike the Senda Costera. The round-trip bus fare from Ushuaia to the park is approximately ARS 8,000. The entrance fee for foreign visitors to Tierra del Fuego National Park is approximately ARS 30,000 to 40,000. Be sure to have Argentine pesos for payment.

Taxi
Alternatively, a taxi can be taken from Ushuaia to the park. The ride is approximately 20 minutes via National Route 3. Arrange a pick-up time with the driver for your return or have them drop you off at one end of the trail (Ensenada or Alakush Visitor Center) and take the local bus back to Ushuaia from the other end. A taxi fare from Ushuaia to Tierra del Fuego National Park will likely cost between ARS 4,000 and ARS 6,000 each way. Remember to also factor in the park entrance fee of ARS 30,000-40,000 for foreign visitors.
