From the center of Tilcara, head southwest on Ruta Nacional 9 (RN9) towards the village of Huacalera. After approximately 4 kilometers, look for the turnoff to the left onto a gravel road that leads to Garganta del Diablo. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the trailhead. Parking is free. From here, you will need to hike approximately 1 kilometer along a marked trail to reach the scenic viewpoint of Garganta del Diablo.

To reach Garganta del Diablo via public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Tilcara. Look for a bus heading towards Huacalera or Uquía.
