From the center of Ushuaia, start at the Plaza Malvinas Argentinas, located on Avenida Maipú. Head south on Avenida Maipú towards Avenida San Martín. Turn right onto Avenida San Martín and walk towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you'll find the Ushuaia Bay. From here, you can take a local bus or a taxi to the base of the Martial Glacier.

Take a local bus (Bus number 5 or 6) that goes to the Martial Glacier. The bus will drop you off at the base of the glacier. The fare is inexpensive, so keep some Argentine pesos handy. Once you arrive at the stop, you'll see signs directing you to the hiking trails.

From the bus stop, follow the clearly marked trail leading up to the Martial Glacier. The trail is approximately 4 kilometers long (2.5 miles) and will take about 1-2 hours to hike, depending on your pace. As you ascend, enjoy stunning views of Ushuaia and the surrounding mountains.
