Taxis or private transfers offer a direct route to the Laguna Esmeralda trailhead. A one-way trip from Ushuaia costs approximately $30–50 USD and takes 20–25 minutes. Arrange a return trip with the driver or pre-book a taxi for your return.

Renting a car provides flexibility in reaching the Laguna Esmeralda trailhead. The drive from Ushuaia takes about 20–25 minutes, primarily on paved roads, with a well-maintained gravel section.
