From the center of Villa La Angostura, head south on Av. Arrayanes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 40 (Ruta Nacional 40). Turn left onto Route 40 heading south towards San Martín de los Andes. Drive approximately 15 km (9 miles) until you see the sign for Lago Falkner, which is just before reaching the entrance to the Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to Lago Falkner. Please note that this road can be bumpy, so a vehicle with higher clearance is recommended. The total drive time is about 30-40 minutes.

Catch a bus from the main bus terminal in Villa La Angostura that heads towards San Martín de los Andes. Make sure to ask the driver if they can drop you off at the Lago Falkner turn-off, as not all buses may stop there. The ride to the turn-off takes approximately 30 minutes. From the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 3 km (1.9 miles) along a dirt path to reach the lake. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the walk.

For a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Villa La Angostura to Lago Falkner. This is the quickest way, as it will take about 30 minutes.
