Getting There

Walking
From the main bus terminal on Avenida Siete Lagos, walk south towards Avenida Arrayanes, the main street. Turn right onto Avenida Arrayanes and walk for approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the town center. The walk is relatively flat and easy. There are no costs associated with walking.

Public Transport
From the ports of Villa La Angostura, which are accessed by the road that leaves to the right of the ACA service stations, you can take a colectivo (bus) from the station on the corner opposite the ACA to downtown. The pity is that at the time we went, being low season, there was little frequency and schedules of buses, so we took a cab on the way there and on the way back we took a bus. A one-way local transport ticket costs approximately $0.50 - $1.00.

Taxis are available in Villa La Angostura and can be found near the bus terminal or hailed on the street. A short taxi ride from the bus terminal to a central location like Avenida Arrayanes will typically cost between $1.00 - $1.50 per kilometer. Uber is also available in Villa La Angostura.
