If driving from downtown Phoenix, take the AZ 202 Loop West and exit for Washington Street. From downtown Scottsdale, take E Camelback Rd to 56th St. Parking is limited and fills up quickly, especially during peak season. Parking is not permitted along the majority of roadways near the trailheads. Vehicles parked in violation of posted signs will be towed at the owner's expense. Limited street parking is available on Invergordon Road for the Cholla Trail. The Echo Canyon Trailhead has a parking lot that often reaches capacity.

From downtown Phoenix, the Valley Metro bus line 44 will take you to Camelback Mountain. The bus departs from 44th St & Washington St and arrives at McDonald Dr & 47th St. The journey takes approximately 21 minutes. The closest stations to Camelback Mountain are Camelback Rd & Phoenician Bl, a 37-minute walk. A single ride on the bus costs $2.

Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Request a ride to either the Echo Canyon Trailhead or the Cholla Trailhead.
