Get off at the stop at 3rd Ave and McKinley St. Walk north on 3rd Ave for about 3 minutes, and the Japanese Friendship Garden will be on your left at 1125 N 3rd Ave.

If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Chandler. Take the Arizona Canal Trail heading northwest until you reach the intersection with 7th Ave. Turn left onto 7th Ave and continue until you reach McKinley St. Turn right and head east on McKinley until you reach 3rd Ave. Turn left on 3rd Ave, and the Japanese Friendship Garden will be on your left at 1125 N 3rd Ave.
