If you are near the downtown area, locate the nearest light rail station. You can board the Valley Metro Light Rail at any station along the route. If you are starting from the Phoenix Convention Center, walk to the nearest light rail station at 1st Avenue and Washington Street. Board the light rail heading east towards the Mesa direction. Get off at the 12th Street/Washington station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 1 at the bus stop. Take Bus Route 1 heading towards 7th Street and get off at Fillmore Street (the stop is very close to the mural). Walk east on Fillmore Street for about 2 blocks, and you will find the Expressing Ourselves! Mural at 401 E Fillmore St.
