Public Transit - Light Rail
If you are near the downtown area, locate the nearest light rail station. You can board the Valley Metro Light Rail at any station along the route. If you are starting from the Phoenix Convention Center, walk to the nearest light rail station at 1st Avenue and Washington Street. Board the light rail heading east towards the Mesa direction. Get off at the 12th Street/Washington station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 1 at the bus stop. Take Bus Route 1 heading towards 7th Street and get off at Fillmore Street (the stop is very close to the mural). Walk east on Fillmore Street for about 2 blocks, and you will find the Expressing Ourselves! Mural at 401 E Fillmore St.

Walking
If you are already in the downtown area, you can walk to the mural. Start at the Phoenix Art Museum located at 1625 N Central Ave. Walk east on McDowell Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left onto 7th Avenue and head north for about 0.3 miles until you reach Fillmore Street. Then turn left onto Fillmore Street and walk for about 0.2 miles. The mural will be on your right at 401 E Fillmore St.

To get to the mural via bus, find the nearest bus stop that services Route 1. If you are near the Arizona State Capitol, catch the Route 1 bus heading south. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Fillmore Street stop. From the bus stop, walk east on Fillmore Street for about 2 blocks. The mural is located at 401 E Fillmore St, which will be on your right.
