Continue up the hill for paid parking ($3 per day) at the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout. Parking fills up quickly, especially near sunset. Consider alternative transportation or arriving well in advance.

Walking
For a more challenging but rewarding approach, consider walking from Sunset Park. From Sunset Park, take the Sunset Trail, a 1.3-mile uphill hike to the Airport Mesa Vortex. This trail offers gradual elevation gain and scenic views of Sedona. Remember to bring a flashlight if staying for sunset, as the return hike will be in the dark. There are no costs associated with this approach, but the walk is strenuous.
