From the Flagstaff Downtown area, head north on Milton Road (Route 180). Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Forest Avenue. Turn left onto Forest Avenue and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Coconino National Forest. The Soldier Pass Trailhead is located about 1.5 miles further along the trailhead road. Look for signs indicating the trailhead parking area. Please note that there may be limited parking available, so plan to arrive early.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local shop in downtown Flagstaff. Start at the intersection of Route 66 and San Francisco Street, then head north on San Francisco Street, which will turn into Milton Road (Route 180). Continue on Milton Road for about 1 mile. When you reach the intersection with Forest Avenue, turn left and follow the road to the Coconino National Forest entrance. The Soldier Pass Trailhead is approximately 1.5 miles ahead.
