Start at the Sedona Main Street area, specifically at the intersection of Main St and 89A. Head northwest on Main St toward 89A. Continue on Main St for about 0.5 miles. You will come to the Sedona Trolley station; consider catching the Red Rock Trolley if available. If you're walking, continue on Main St until you reach the junction with North 89A. Turn left onto North 89A and walk for another 1.5 miles, enjoying the views along the way.

From the Sedona Main Street area, locate the nearest bus stop for the Verde Lynx (Route 3). Board the bus heading towards Cottonwood. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of North 89A and Forest Service 9904 Rd. From there, follow the signs for Soldier Pass Trailhead, which is about a 15-minute walk up Forest Service 9904 Rd.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Sedona Main Street area and head north on Main St toward 89A. Turn left onto North 89A and follow it for about 1.5 miles.
