Walking
Wheeler Park is centrally located in downtown Flagstaff, making it easily accessible on foot from most downtown locations. From the intersection of Route 66 and San Francisco Street, walk north on San Francisco Street, then turn right onto Aspen Avenue. The park will be on your left, across from City Hall. No cost involved.
Public Transport
Mountain Line, Flagstaff's public bus system, has several routes that stop near Wheeler Park. Check the Mountain Line website for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. From the Flagstaff Train Station, take any Mountain Line bus heading towards downtown. Get off at a stop near Aspen Avenue. Walk west on Aspen Avenue to reach the park. A one-way fare is $1.25 for adults.
Parking
Several parking lots are available near Wheeler Park. These include the Cherry Avenue Parking Lot, Aspen Avenue Parking Lot, Phoenix Avenue Parking Lot, and the Beaver Street Parking Lot. On-street parking is also available. Parking rates are $1.00 per hour, enforced Sunday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday - Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Free parking is available outside the managed area and in most city and county lots after 5 PM and on weekends.
