Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Gilbert, head to the nearest bus stop and take Valley Metro Bus Route 120 towards Phoenix. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of E McDowell Rd and N Galvin Pkwy. Walk north on N Galvin Pkwy for about 10 minutes, and you'll reach the Phoenix Zoo at 455 N Galvin Pkwy.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Gilbert. Start at the Gilbert Town Square and head west on E Warner Rd for about 3 miles until you reach S 48th St. Turn right on S 48th St and continue north until you reach E McDowell Rd. Turn left on E McDowell Rd, and after about 1 mile, turn right onto N Galvin Pkwy. The Phoenix Zoo will be straight ahead.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, start at the Gilbert Historical Museum located at 10 S Gilbert Rd. Walk south on Gilbert Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Baseline Rd. Turn left on E Baseline Rd, then walk east for approximately 2 miles until you reach N Galvin Pkwy. Turn right on N Galvin Pkwy, and the Phoenix Zoo will be approximately 0.5 miles ahead on your left.

• Ride Share

  You can use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Phoenix Zoo' or '455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008' as your destination. The drivers are familiar with local routes, and this is a convenient option if you're carrying bags or prefer not to walk or bike.
