Take the Valley Metro Rail to the 3rd Street/Mill Avenue Station. From the station, walk north on Mill Avenue, cross Rio Salado Parkway, and you'll arrive at Tempe Beach Park on the south shore of Tempe Town Lake. A single ride fare is $2, or a day pass is $4.
