    Freestone District Park is easily accessible by car. From most areas in Gilbert, take the Loop 202 Freeway to the Gilbert Road exit. Head south on Gilbert Road, then turn east onto Juniper Avenue. The park entrance will be on your left. Ample parking is available on-site. Parking is free.

    Valley Metro operates bus routes that serve the area near Freestone District Park. Check the Valley Metro website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. Route 136 runs along Gilbert Road, with a stop near the park. A one-way bus fare is $2. Smart Fare, the new pay-as-you-go system, does not change the price of fares. Local bus and light rail riders paying full fare will not pay more than $4 per day.
