Car
From Havasu Falls, you will first need to drive back to the nearest major road, which is AZ-64. Head east on Havasu Falls Road until you reach AZ-64. Turn left onto AZ-64 and continue for about 60 miles. You will be heading towards the Grand Canyon National Park. As you approach the park, you will pass through the entrance. There is an entrance fee of $35 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. After entering the park, follow the signs to Grand Canyon Village. Once you reach the village, look for signs directing you to Shoshone Point, which is located a few miles from the village. The parking area will be on your right, and from there, a short walk will lead you to the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Havasu Falls to a nearby town that connects to the Grand Canyon. You can check with local tour companies for shuttle services that might run from Havasu Falls to the Grand Canyon area. Upon reaching the Grand Canyon Village, you can use the park's free shuttle service (the Blue Route) that operates within the park. Get off at the stop for Shoshone Point. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as service times may vary by season.
Hiking
If you are up for an adventure and are already in the vicinity of Havasu Falls, consider hiking to Shoshone Point. This option is more strenuous and requires proper planning and physical fitness. You would need to navigate the trails leading towards the Grand Canyon, ensuring you have plenty of water and supplies. It is recommended to consult a trail map and perhaps take a guided hike if you are unfamiliar with the area. Always inform someone of your hiking plans and expected return time.
