Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center located at 1 Village Loop Dr, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023. Head south on Village Loop Dr towards AZ-64. Turn right onto AZ-64 S and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Rim Trail and follow the signs to 2 Rim Trail #2, which is approximately 1 mile ahead. The parking area is available near the trailhead.

    If you are using public transportation, take the Grand Canyon Shuttle Bus from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. Board the orange route shuttle that goes to the various viewpoints along the South Rim. Disembark at the stop for the Rim Trail. From there, follow the signs to 2 Rim Trail #2, which is about a 15-minute walk along the trail. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule for return times.
