Car
If you are driving, start from the Grand Canyon Village area. Head southeast on Village Loop Drive towards Hermit Rd. Follow the signs for Hermit Rd, which will lead you directly to Maricopa Point. The drive is approximately 2 miles and takes about 5 minutes. There are parking areas available near Maricopa Point.

From the Grand Canyon Village, you can take the free shuttle bus that operates during the park's visiting season. Look for the orange line shuttle, which goes to the West Rim. If you are already in the Grand Canyon Village and prefer to walk, head southwest from the visitor center towards the edge of the canyon.
