Discover more about Desert Diamond Distillery

Located just off historic Route 66 near the Kingman Airport, Desert Diamond Distillery (D3) offers a unique taste of Arizona. Established in 2009 by the Patt family, it stands as the oldest craft distillery in the state. What began as a dream of starting a winery evolved into a distillery when John Patt's wife saw a notice for a distillery course. D3 distinguishes itself with its state-of-the-art still made in Germany by Arnold Holstein, and a semi-automated distilling system. The distillery crafts a range of award-winning spirits, including rums, vodkas, and whiskeys. Visitors can take a tour of the production and barrel rooms, and partake in tastings. The tasting room features a bar rescued from a famous French restaurant on the old Las Vegas strip, a favorite haunt of the Rat Pack. The distillery offers rum tasting flights, whiskey tastings, and top-tier tastings, all including a shot glass. They also offer delicious homemade chocolate flights. D3 is family-owned and operated, and welcomes bus tours.
