Car
If you are driving, start from the Monument Valley Visitor Center, located at 1 Visitor Center Rd, Oljato-Monument Valley, AZ 84536. Head east on US-163 N for about 3.5 miles until you reach the dirt road leading to Wildcat Trail. Look for a sign indicating the trailhead on your right. Turn onto the dirt road and continue driving for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area at the trailhead. Be aware that the road may be bumpy, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, your best option is to take a shuttle service from the nearby town of Kayenta, which is about 25 miles away. Look for a local shuttle service that offers trips to Monument Valley. Once you arrive in Monument Valley, you can ask the shuttle driver to drop you off at the Monument Valley Visitor Center. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local guide to take you to the Wildcat Trailhead, as public transportation does not reach the trail directly.
Guided Tour
Another great option is to join a guided tour that includes Wildcat Trail as part of its itinerary. Many tour companies in Monument Valley offer half-day or full-day tours that will take you directly to the trail.
