Driving
From Kayenta, AZ, head north on US-163 for approximately 22 miles. The entrance to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park will be on your left. Follow the signs to the visitor center and viewpoint. Note that the 17-mile Valley Drive within the park is a dirt road, and an SUV or high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Entry fee is $8 per person per day.

While public transportation directly to Monument Valley is limited, you can take a Greyhound bus to Kayenta, AZ.
