Discover more about Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours

Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours provides unforgettable journeys into the heart of Upper Antelope Canyon, a sacred site of the Navajo Nation. This natural wonder, located near Page, Arizona, is a slot canyon sculpted over centuries by the forces of wind and water. The Navajo people consider Antelope Canyon a symbol of Mother Nature's gifts and powers, and entering it is a spiritual experience deserving of respect. Upper Antelope Canyon, known to the Navajo as "Tsé bighánílíní," or "the place where water runs through rocks," is easily accessible, with its entrance and entire length at ground level. As you walk through the canyon's winding crevices, Navajo guides share cultural stories, describe the canyon's geology, and point out unique rock formations. The canyon is particularly famous for its light beams that occur during the spring and summer months, especially between 11 am and 1:30 pm. These beams create stunning photo opportunities as sunlight pierces through the canyon, illuminating the narrow orange and gold sandstone walls. Other highlights include a naturally heart-shaped rock formation and the rich reddish hues of the sandstone walls under natural light. Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours operates on land belonging to the Begay family, longstanding members of the Navajo Nation. Dalvin Etsitty, a member of the Begay family, runs the tours, continuing a 20-year tradition of sharing the canyon's beauty and Navajo culture with visitors from around the world.
