Getting There

• Light Rail

  If you're near the Central Avenue and Washington Street Light Rail station, board the light rail heading west toward the 19th Avenue/Dunlap station. Ride for four stops and disembark at the 7th Avenue and Washington Street stop. From there, walk west along Washington Street for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Arizona Capitol Museum at 1700 W Washington St.

• Bus

  You can take the Valley Metro Bus Route 1 from various locations in Phoenix. If you're near the Phoenix Public Library, catch the bus heading west on Monroe Street. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop at 17th Avenue and Washington Street. From there, walk east along Washington Street for about 0.2 miles to reach the Arizona Capitol Museum.

• Walking

  If you are already in the downtown area, the Arizona Capitol Museum is within walking distance for many locations. For example, if you are at the Phoenix Convention Center, head north on 3rd Street, then turn left on Washington Street. Walk west on Washington Street for about 0.6 miles until you arrive at the museum.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike share station. Head towards the Arizona Capitol Museum by cycling west along Washington Street. The bike ride from downtown should take around 10-15 minutes, and there are bike racks available at the museum.
