From any location in Scottsdale, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take the Route 72 bus heading south towards the 44th St/Washington station. You will need to pay a fare of approximately $2.00 for a one-way ticket. After about 30 minutes, get off at the bus stop at 44th St & Camelback Rd. Transfer to Route 50, which heads east towards the Phoenix Zoo. Ride for about 15 minutes and disembark at the stop closest to the zoo entrance.
