From Prescott, walk to the nearest bus stop on Gurley Street and catch the Yavapai Regional Transit bus heading towards Cottonwood. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the correct time. After approximately 40-50 minutes, get off at the Jerome stop. Once you disembark, walk up Main Street for about 5-10 minutes, and you will find the Jerome Mining Museum located at 200 Main St.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike shops in Prescott. Head south on Montezuma Street, then take a left onto Gurley Street. Follow the bike lane until you reach Willow Creek Road. From Willow Creek Road, continue onto AZ-89A N. This route will take you directly toward Jerome. The ride is approximately 25 miles and may take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Once in Jerome, follow Main Street until you reach the museum at 200 Main St.
Walking
If you are up for a hike, you can walk to the museum. Start at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza, head east on Gurley Street, and then turn onto Montezuma Street. Continue walking north until you reach AZ-89A N. From there, you can walk along the roadside towards Jerome. This is a long trek of approximately 25 miles, so be prepared for a long day of walking. Upon arriving in Jerome, you will find the museum at 200 Main St.
