Walking
Start from the downtown Prescott area, specifically the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza. Head east on Gurley Street toward Montezuma Street. Turn right onto Montezuma Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Willow Creek Road. Here, you can catch the bus to Mingus Mountain. The bus stop will be marked, and the bus will take you to the area closer to the base of the mountain.

From downtown Prescott, walk to the nearest bus stop on Montezuma Street. Take the bus route heading toward the Mingus Mountain area. The journey should take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop for Mingus Mountain (look for signage), disembark and follow the trail signs leading to the hiking paths.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Prescott. Start at the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza, head east on Gurley Street, then take a right onto Montezuma Street. Follow it until you reach Willow Creek Road. Turn left onto Willow Creek Road and continue on the bike lane for about 3 miles until you reach the Mingus Mountain trailhead. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the scenic route!
