Public Bus
From anywhere in Scottsdale, locate the nearest bus stop for Valley Metro. Take the Route 72 bus towards the 'Central Ave/Osborn' direction. Stay on the bus for about 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic. You will need to transfer to the Route 1 bus at the 'Central Ave/Thomas' stop. Board the Route 1 bus towards 'Biltmore Fashion Park' and ride for around 10 minutes. Disembark at 'Central Ave/Camden' stop. The Heard Museum will be a short 5-minute walk north on Central Ave. Look for the museum's distinctive signage.
Light Rail
Head to the nearest light rail station in Scottsdale, which is the 'Scottsdale & Camelback' stop. Take the light rail towards 'Mesa'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Central Ave & McDowell' station. From there, transfer to the Route 1 bus at the nearby bus stop. Board the Route 1 bus towards 'Biltmore Fashion Park' and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at 'Central Ave/Camden' stop. The Heard Museum is located a short walk north on Central Ave.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental service in Scottsdale. Head towards the Arizona Canal Path and follow the path west until you reach the 'Central Ave'. Turn right on Central Ave and continue north for approximately 2.5 miles. The Heard Museum will be on your left at 2301 N Central Ave.
Walking
If you are staying at a hotel in downtown Scottsdale, you can walk to the Heard Museum. Start by heading north on Scottsdale Rd. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach Osborn Rd. Turn left onto Osborn and then right onto Central Ave. Walk straight for about half a mile, and you will find the Heard Museum on your right at 2301 N Central Ave.
