From downtown Scottsdale, walk to the nearest bus stop on Scottsdale Road. Board Valley Metro Bus Route 72 heading towards Mesa. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Mesa Dr & Main St' stop. Transfer to Route 40 at the same stop and continue for 10 more minutes. Get off at 'Pepper Pl & Country Club Dr' stop. From there, walk 2 blocks west on Pepper Pl, and you will arrive at the idea Museum at 150 W Pepper Pl, Mesa, AZ 85201.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Scottsdale, such as 'Scottsdale Bicycle'. Start by heading east on Indian School Rd until you reach Scottsdale Rd. Turn left onto Scottsdale Rd. Continue north until you reach Main St. Turn right onto Main St and follow it until you reach Mesa. After about 10 miles, turn left onto Country Club Dr, then take a right onto Pepper Pl. The idea Museum will be on your left at 150 W Pepper Pl, Mesa, AZ 85201.
