    From downtown Scottsdale, walk to the nearest bus stop at Scottsdale Rd & Drinkwater Blvd. Take the Valley Metro bus route 81 heading south towards Phoenix. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop at Camelback Rd & 24th St. From there, transfer to bus route 50 heading east towards Piestewa Peak. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at Piestewa Peak Dr. Walk north for about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of Piestewa Peak.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Scottsdale. Head north on Drinkwater Blvd, then take a left onto Indian School Rd. Continue straight until you reach 24th St, then make a right. Follow 24th St until you reach Camelback Rd. Make a left on Camelback and ride west towards Piestewa Peak Dr. Finally, turn right onto Piestewa Peak Dr and bike for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of the park.

    For those who enjoy walking, start at the Scottsdale Waterfront. Head north on the Arizona Canal Path until you reach Scottsdale Rd. Turn left onto Scottsdale Rd and walk south until you reach the intersection with Camelback Rd. Cross the street and continue walking east on Camelback Rd until you reach 24th St. Turn left on 24th St and walk until you reach Piestewa Peak Dr. Turn right and walk for about 10 minutes to arrive at the entrance of Piestewa Peak.
