Walking
If you are starting from the Sedona Main Street, head north towards the intersection with Arizona State Route 89A. Turn left onto 89A and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of the Long Canyon Trail. Look for the trailhead on the right side of the road, marked by a sign.
Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Sedona. Starting from the Sedona Bike & Bean, head east on Coffee Pot Drive and take a right on 89A. Cycle for about 1 mile until you see the Long Canyon Trailhead on your right. Make sure to take it slow, as this road can have some traffic.
Shuttle Service
Look for the local shuttle service that operates in Sedona. You can catch the shuttle from various stops around town. Request to be dropped off at the Long Canyon Trailhead, which is a well-known stop. The shuttle will take you directly to the entrance of the trail.
Public Transportation
Use the Verde Lynx Public Transit service. Board the Verde Lynx Route 2, which can be caught at several points in Sedona. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the closest stop to the Long Canyon Trail. After getting off, it is a short 0.2-mile walk toward the trailhead.
