Lover's Knoll: A Serene Escape Among Sedona's Red Rocks

Walking

Start from the center of Sedona, specifically at the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center located at 331 Forest Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336. From here, walk south on Forest Road until you reach the intersection with State Route 89A. Cross at the designated crosswalk and continue walking south on the sidewalk along 89A. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Upper Red Rock Loop Road. Turn left onto Upper Red Rock Loop Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. Keep an eye on the left side of the road; you will see a small path leading to Lover's Knoll just past the coordinates: 1891-, 1893 Upper Red Rock Loop Rd. Follow this path to reach the scenic viewpoint.

Biking

If you have access to a bike, start from the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at 331 Forest Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336. Head south on Forest Road, then merge onto State Route 89A. Continue biking along the road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Upper Red Rock Loop Road. Take a left onto Upper Red Rock Loop Road and bike for about 1.5 miles. Look out for a small trail on your left leading to Lover's Knoll, located at 1891-, 1893 Upper Red Rock Loop Rd. The biking path is scenic and offers beautiful views along the way.

Public Transportation

From the Sedona area, take the Verde Lynx bus service. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location and ride towards the Sedona Village. Get off at the stop closest to Upper Red Rock Loop Road. Once you disembark, walk along Upper Red Rock Loop Road until you reach the coordinates 1891-, 1893 Upper Red Rock Loop Rd, which is where Lover's Knoll is located.
