Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Sedona, head south on State Route 89A. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Forest Road 525. Turn left onto Forest Road 525 and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for Cathedral Rock Trailhead. Follow the signs leading you to the parking area. Please note that there is limited parking available, so if you don’t have a vehicle, continue to walk along the trail.

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Sedona, take the local shuttle service (Sedona Shuttle) heading towards the Cathedral Rock area. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance for the latest routes and times. Get off at the Cathedral Rock stop. Once you exit the shuttle, follow the signs for the Cathedral Rock Trailhead. You will need to walk approximately 0.25 miles to reach the trail entrance.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Sedona. Start from the Sedona Bike Path, heading south towards State Route 89A.
