    The Apache Wash Trailhead is located at 1600 E Sonoran Desert Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85085. From I-17, take the Dove Valley Parkway (Exit 222) east for 5.5 miles. From Cave Creek Road, head west on Sonoran Desert Drive for 5.7 miles. The trailhead will be on the north side of the road. Parking is free and plentiful. Note that parking gates close at 7 PM.
