    From downtown Tempe, walk to the nearest bus stop on Mill Ave & 6th St. Take the Valley Metro Bus Route 61 towards 44th St/Washington. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Van Buren St & 24th St' stop. Transfer to Bus Route 1 towards 44th St & Washington. Ride for another 15 minutes and get off at 'Galvin Pkwy & McDowell Rd'. From there, it’s a short walk to Desert Botanical Garden at 1201 N Galvin Pkwy.

  • Light Rail

    From downtown Tempe, walk to the nearest light rail station, which is the 'Tempe Transportation Center'. Board the light rail heading towards 'Mesa'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Valley Metro Rail - 44th St/Washington' station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 1 or take a rideshare service to reach Desert Botanical Garden at 1201 N Galvin Pkwy, which is about a 10-minute ride.
