From downtown Tempe, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can take bus route 81 (McClintock Drive) heading north. Get off at the 'McClintock & Southern' stop. Transfer to route 56 (Southern Avenue) heading east. After a few stops, get off at 'Galvin Parkway'. From there, walk north on Galvin Parkway for about 10 minutes to reach Papago Park at 625 N Galvin Pkwy.
