Getting There

Public Bus
From downtown Tucson, head to the Ronstadt Transit Center located at 215 E Congress St. Catch the Sun Tran bus #4 (West) towards 'Mission Rd.' and ride it for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'Mission Rd & 22nd St.' and transfer to bus #19 (West) towards 'Ajo Way.' Ride for another 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Ajo Way & Tumamoc Hill Rd.' From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles north on Tumamoc Hill Rd until you reach the Tumamoc Hill entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in downtown Tucson. Start at the intersection of Congress St and 6th Ave, heading west on Congress St towards 22nd St. Continue straight onto Ajo Way and follow the bike lane. Turn north on Tumamoc Hill Rd, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Tumamoc Hill. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the downtown Tucson area. Walk west on Congress St until you reach 6th Ave. Turn left onto 6th Ave and head south until you reach Ajo Way. Cross Ajo Way and continue on Tumamoc Hill Rd. The walk is about 3.5 miles and will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. There are sidewalks and crosswalks along the way for your safety.
