Experience Mount Baldy Wilderness

Getting There

  • Car

    If you're already in the White Mountains area, start by driving to the town of Greer, Arizona. From Greer, head southeast on AZ-260 E for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 117. Turn left onto Forest Road 117, which will lead you closer to Mount Baldy Wilderness. Continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Mount Baldy trailhead. Parking is available at the trailhead, and there are no fees for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Mount Baldy Wilderness. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Show Low, AZ. Once in Show Low, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Greer, which is around 30 miles away. From Greer, follow the directions provided for car travel to reach the Mount Baldy Wilderness trailhead.
