From Yuma, head north on US-95 for approximately 35 miles. Turn east onto Castle Dome Mine Road at mile marker 55. Follow Castle Dome Mine Road for 10 miles to the museum. The first 3 miles are paved, followed by 7 miles of well-graded dirt road. Parking is available on site. Be aware that the road passes through the Yuma Proving Ground and Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.
