Visitors can drive along a 1.5-mile paved road, immersing themselves in the glow of 56 major motion displays. What began in 1995 as a small downtown lighting display has grown into a cherished holiday tradition, drawing over 35,000 visitors annually from across Arkansas, 45 states, and nine countries. The event has a significant positive impact on local tourism, with 80% of visitors coming from outside the Blytheville area. In addition to the stunning lights, Lights on the Delta offers a complete holiday experience. Jingle Bell Park, located at the halfway point of the drive, provides a place to stretch your legs, enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn, and take memorable photos. Santa Claus himself makes appearances every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, courtesy of the Blytheville High School FFA chapter.
