Continue to follow AR-5 S for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto C S Woods Blvd. Mountain Village 1890 will be on your right. Parking is available on-site. Parking is free.

The village features nine main historic structures and several outbuildings, all carefully relocated from various sites within the Ozark Mountains. Visitors can explore a general store, a blacksmith shop, a schoolhouse, a jail, and the 1903 Pyatt Depot with its locomotive engine. The Martin House, a two-story log cabin built around 1830, is the oldest structure in the village and once served as a bed and breakfast; Herbert Hoover stayed there for three weeks in 1893. Another notable building is the Lynch-Flippin House, built in 1870, showcasing a more affluent lifestyle of the time. Mountain Village 1890 has been added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. Self-guided tours allow guests to wander through the village at their own pace, discovering the tools, furnishings, and farm equipment that defined Ozark Mountain culture. The village also offers gemstone panning and is located near Bull Shoals Caverns, making it a popular destination for families and school groups. The church in the village is available for private wedding ceremonies by appointment.
