The cavern is about 11 km (7 miles) north of Berryville on Highway 21. Parking is available on-site in front of the gift shop. Parking is free.

The path is well-lit and mostly level, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 64°F (17°C) with 96% humidity, making it the warmest cave in the Ozarks.Cosmic Cavern boasts a stunning collection of speleothems, including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, cave bacon, draperies, and a multitude of soda straws and helictites. One of the highlights is the Silent Splendor section, discovered in 1993, featuring pristine white soda straws and transparent formations. The cave also features two bottomless lakes, adding to the mystery and allure of the underground landscape. The South Lake was once home to trout for nearly 50 years, some of which adapted to the cave environment by losing their pigmentation and eyesight.
