Driving
To reach Pack Rat Falls, start on Highway 7 and head towards the intersection with Highway 16 near Hagarville. Turn onto Highway 16 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Look for the Haw Creek Falls Campground sign on Highway 123, about 14 miles north of Hagarville. Turn onto the campground road and cross the low-water bridge. Be cautious during high water levels. Park in the campground. From there, follow the hiking guidance to the falls. There are no parking fees.

From the back of Haw Creek Falls Campground, find the small creek bed that leads into the canyon. Follow the creek upstream, which involves some rock hopping and navigating potentially slippery, mossy areas. The falls are approximately 0.25 miles from the campground. The trail is not well-marked, so stay close to the creek.
