The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, located in downtown Pine Bluff, has been a cultural cornerstone since 1968. The center's mission is to provide opportunities for the practice, teaching, performance, enjoyment, and understanding of the arts and sciences.The ASC boasts three exhibition galleries that showcase a range of art from local and regional artists, as well as touring exhibitions. The Catherine M. Bellamy Theater, a 232-seat venue, hosts community theater productions, musical performances, and other events. The center also offers interactive science exhibits and year-round classes for children, youth, and adults.In addition to its main facility, the ASC operates The ARTSpace on Main and ART Works on Main, which provide additional gallery space, workshops, and performance venues. The ASC is accredited with the American Alliance of Museums, ensuring high standards in its programming and preservation of cultural heritage. Admission to the galleries and many of its programs are free, thanks to the support of sponsors and the community.
