Start at the Pine Bluff Convention Center located at 1 Convention Center Plaza, Pine Bluff, AR 71601. Head east on W 4th Ave towards S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and walk until you reach W 6th Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Walnut St. Cross S Walnut St and continue walking on the same path, which will turn into W 10th Ave. Keep walking straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road. Turn right onto Unnamed Road and follow it for about 0.5 miles. Byrd Lake Natural Area will be on your left.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Pine Bluff Public Library located at 200 E 8th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601. Head south on E 8th Ave towards S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and then left onto W 7th Ave. Continue on W 7th Ave until it becomes W 10th Ave, then proceed straight for about 1.5 miles.
