Discover more about Arkansas Public Theatre

Arkansas Public Theatre (APT) is a cornerstone of the cultural landscape in Rogers, Arkansas. Housed in the beautifully renovated Victory Theater, APT has been providing live theater experiences for over three decades. As an all-volunteer, non-profit community theater, APT offers a diverse range of productions, including classic plays, cutting-edge dramas, and Broadway-style musicals. The Victory Theater, APT's home, has a rich history of its own. Designed by Rogers architect A.O. Clarke, it opened in 1927 as a community gathering place, hosting movies and vaudeville shows. After closing in the early 1970s, the City of Rogers purchased the theater in 2008 with the help of the Wal-Mart Foundation and countless volunteers, ensuring it would become the long-term home of APT. The theater has since been renovated to provide an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for theatergoers. APT is more than just a theater; it's a community. The organization is committed to fostering a love for the arts, offering workshops and events for all ages. APT's mission is to enhance the Rogers Historic District and create a regional destination for the performing arts.
